Guided short tour: Christmas in Wiesbaden
From November 28 through December 19—every Saturday—one-hour walking tours of festive Wiesbaden will be offered at 3:00 p.m.
A walking tour of Wiesbaden takes on a particularly festive atmosphere during the Advent season thanks to the Sternschnuppenmarkt. Set against the picturesque backdrop between City Hall, the City Palace, and the Marktkirche, the market will feature impressive handicrafts and unique treasures from November 28 through December 19, 2026. In addition to tried-and-true, traditional gift items, visitors will find both gift ideas with an oriental flair and new creations from creative workshops.
Fragrant cinnamon waffles, hearty culinary delights, and spiced mulled wine, all illuminated by thousands of lily lights, make the Wiesbaden Shooting Star Market one of the most Christmassy markets in Germany. From the Sternschnuppenmarkt, the route continues to the Kurhaus Wiesbaden, along the Hessian State Theater, and down Wilhelmstraße. Let yourself be enchanted by Wiesbaden’s Christmas atmosphere.
