Experience the Rheingau Wine Week in Wiesbaden from its sparkling side: During the guided "sparkling wine hopping" on August 21, 5 p.m., you can taste selected sparkling wines from five Rheingau winegrowers - expertly moderated by wine presenter Katharina Höfling.
Experience the sparkling side of Rheingau Wine Week in Wiesbaden—one of Germany’s largest wine festivals, featuring over 100 wineries and sparkling wine producers on site: During the guided “Sparkling Wine Tasting Tour,” you’ll sample select sparkling wines and get to know the five renowned Rheingau winemakers personally right at their wine stands. Learn plenty of interesting facts—presented in a relaxed, easy-to-understand, and accessible way—about sparkling wine, the Rheingau, its wine and sparkling wine traditions, and the winemakers’ passion for their work. Of course, plenty of water and a small snack will be provided at the start. The tour is led and hosted by Katharina Höfling, an expert wine presenter from the Rheingau.

The tour will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m. The tour will take place regardless of the weather, so please dress appropriately. Since August is expected to be very sunny and warm, we recommend lightweight clothing and sunscreen.
