Specialties include the Frauenstein festive soup and venison cutlets.
The Forsthaus Rheinblick places special emphasis on a seasonal menu prepared with regional products. The restaurant maintains personal, long-term partnerships with suppliers such as winemakers and butchers.
Hesse à la carte
More than 100 select restaurants and inns from various regions of Hesse are part of the “Hessen à la carte” partnership, Germany’s oldest regional quality association. Member establishments can be recognized by the red-and-white “Hessen à la carte” sign.
According to “Hessen à la carte,” member establishments are evaluated every three years based on a ten-point criteria checklist. Among other things, the evaluation takes into account regionality, tradition, innovation, authenticity, and other specified quality criteria.
